The Hamlet of Shatterling:

Shatterling is part of the parish of Staple, and  lies to the north of the village (near the main Ash to Wingham road).  It is only accessible within the parish boundaries by footpath.  Following requests from residents, I have now included this Shatterling-related section.  However, I still have very little information about Shattering, and as a result this section is virtually 'empty' at the moment!  If you've any old photo's, maps, or snippets of information about Shatterling, and would like them included here then please contact me.
