Durlock Road

Durlock Road, Looking Towards School Lane

By The 1990's The Thatched Building In The Foreground Had a Roof Of Corrugated Iron.  In 2003 both the smaller and larger buildings were extensively modernised.  Note The Huge, Multi-Armed Telegraph Pole. (In those days each person's telephone was connected to the exchange via a pair of bare wires.  As you can imagine, these were prone to faults caused by trees, snow and high winds).
